First Turn-By-Turn Navigation App For Android

If you blew that extra money you were saving for a GPS unit to purchase your G1, you just might be in luck. AndNav2, is the first turn-by-turn navigation app for Android phones.

Now, before our American readers get to excited, the downside to the app is that there is no support for the US. AndNav2 is based on OpenStreetMap data, meaning that map information is community-based and relies, in part, on its users to develop the mapping data. This may explain why US support is not listed, there simply may not be enough mapping data.

AndNav2 is available to the UK however, so you could just download the UK version and try to see if you can get any support at all here in the US.
