T-Mobile G1 running Flash

We were just telling you about a full Flash Player coming to smartphones.

Well thanks to Adobe showing off what they can do at the Adobe MAX 2008 developers conference, here is some visual proof.

Flash 10 running on Android, what a beautiful sight.

Unfortunate news for iPhone owners, is that it might be a while for you to share the same experience, if ever.  

Adobe says they are working on a version for the iPhone, but don't hold your breath, as it is unlikely to be seen in the App Store.

Because, Apple's terms of service prohibits it, being that Flash is a development platform of its own.  Apple will most likely not allow such a thing to happen.  Since, this would allow any developers to get their Flash apps onto the iPhone.  You can read more about this unfortunate set back on Wired here.

Sorry iPhone lovers out there, but it looks like you will just have to wait and see what happens.
