Can you get the new Google turn-by-turn navigation on the G1?
HTC Drops 10% in Revenue & 18% in Profits
HtC has announced and unexpected drop in performance for the summer quarter. Profits as compare to a year ago fell more almost 18 percent to the tune of $179 million. To top off the poor performance total revenue also fell more than 10 percent.
Although there has been no official explanation given as to why the performance fell off, many "experts" believe that because of stiff competition, HTC had to increase advertising and lower prices. [source]
New Android Market Facelift
The Android Market is getting a facelift. Google has updated the Market for Android 1.6 (Donut). The updated market will sport a new UI that makes it easier to find what you need and word has it that it will even be brighter ... Woohhoo! The biggest ans best improvement is the addition of screenshots.
Looks pretty cool if you ask me. Can't wait to get my hands on an official release of Donut. Until next time...

Cupcake (Android 1.5) Update Rolling Out Today?
Apparently, T-Mobile has began rolling out the Cupcake update OTA, just not in the US. We spoke with a T-Mobile rep that said the update is not currently being pushed to US customers
The Android 1.5 update will include some cool new features such as an onscreen keyboard, a video recording app, the ability to upload videos directly to YouTube and much, much more.
We will be looking out for the 1.5 update and report back as soon as its official for the United States Tmo Customers.
Samsung / Android / Sprint / T-Mobile

That's right everybody, it looks like Samsung is going to pick up Android and run with it, to the US !!!
They are looking for a Q2 '09 launch of an Android based phone, with minimal buttons, under Sprint and T-Mobile. Apparently, the touch-screen phone is rumored to follow the likes of the Instinct and Omnia. There aren't too many details at this time.
Documents to Go for Android !

Earlier this year DataViz released Docs to Go for BlackBerry.
And now, DataViz will be bringing Documents To Go and RoadSync to the Android platform in 2009!
