A Bug in Android obeys your commands to the "T"  (or any other letters it sees as a command)

Its not everyday that you see a bug that does what you tell it to do.

But apparently G1 users with firmware version RC29 or earlier, have just that, an obediant bug in Android that will sit, rollover, and reboot (well maybe not the first two).  But any word it sees as a command is being carried out.  Whether you like it or not!

iSkoot - VOIP For Your G1

Today I thought about some things that would be very cool to have on an Android phone. So I got my lazy butt up and started browsing the Market and found something that is very useful to a lot of our readers...A VOIP app for your G1.

One of our ninjas informed us that the AT&T Quickfire is being sold in an AT&T wireless store right now. The super slick sidekick rival was spotted in a small town in. In order to protect her/his identity we will not be telling you what exact market or store, but trust me...people have them activated in hand. We have some pics of a shiny new Quickfire being prepped for a happy new owner.

Google puts the Android Jailbreak back in its place. 

The clever cats that broke the G1 out got away with it, for a little while.

But Google was hot on their tracks and caught up with them within a few days.

AT&T Fuze Coming To AT&T Very Soon

We obtained some shots of the new AT&T Fuze demo phones from one of our tech ninjas.

As you may or may not know, Android is a Linux based device. One huge advantage of the Linux platform is the almost non-existence of viruses and malware. Being that our Android Based G1 phones are running on a variation of Linux, we should have very little to worry about in the way of nasty bugs. However, for some reason SMobile systems decided that they would market an antivirus program to G1 users.
