TechFaith working on a Android device but keeping it a secret... who it's for?

Manufacturer TechFaith (based in China), is known for discreetly creating phones for a number of handset manufacturers

such as Motorola, LG, Amoi, Bird and CECT, as well as

telecom operators including France Telecom, Sprint, and SK Telecom.

 

Now, it seems they are jumping on the Android Train, which we're sure plenty of manufacturers will

be doing soon.

 

TechFaith's talking about their Android prototype, but aren't saying whom its for.

 

The company's official statement is that it's "still in talks with several interested customers" and expects

to make an announcement about which company will be the bearer of a logo on their design at

the end of November.

Motorola doesn't want HTC to have all the fun.... (They're working on a Android handset too...)

Motorola confirms it's working on new products, and placing their bet on Android in an official statement :
"We’re excited about the innovation possibilities on Android, and [we] look forward to delivering great
products in partnership with Google and the Open Handset Alliance (OHA)."
